On May 28, 2026 the website of the News Agency «BAQ.KZ» published an article entitled  «Putin's visit to Astana: will the Kazakh-Russian relations move to a new stage?». The article features comment by the FPRI expert Nurzhan Omirbek on importance of the state visit of the President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin to the Republic of Kazakhstan.
