On June 1, 2026 TV and Radio Complex of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan presented the documentary «SEVEN FOUNTATIONS. ASTANA – MOSCOW», dedicated to the state visit of the President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin to the Republic of Kazakhstan on May 27-29, 2026 at the invitation of the Head of State Kassym-Jomart Tokayev.
The film chronicles the key events of the visit and reflects main directions of the Kazakh-Russian strategic partnership development in contemporary international conditions. Particular attention was paid to outcomes of the high-level talks, prospects for bilateral cooperation, as well as importance of decisions reached in further strengthening cooperation between the two countries.
As part of the film, Deputy Chairman of the FPRI Board Manarbek Kabaziyev presented an expert assessment of current trends in development of the Kazakh-Russian relations.
The expert noted that in the context of transformation of global economy and international relations, cooperation between Kazakhstan and Russia is becoming increasingly comprehensive and multi-layered.
According to M.Kabaziyev, while previously main focus of bilateral cooperation was mainly on traditional areas of cooperation, today the agenda is significantly expanding due to industrial cooperation, development of transport and logistics interconnectedness, digitalization, introduction of artificial intelligence technologies, new generation energy, as well as humanitarian and educational cooperation.
