PUBLIC COUNCIL UNDER THE MINISTRY OF FOREIGN AFFAIRS OF THE REPUBLIC OF KAZAKHSTAN DISCUSSED RESULTS OF MINISTRY'S ACTIVITIES AND FOREIGN POLICY PRIORITIES

On June 25, 2026 a regular meeting of Public Council on Activities of Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan was held in the building of the Mazhilis of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan, chaired by Deputy of the Mazhilis of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Chairman of the Committee on International Affairs, Defense and Security Aigul Kuspan.
The meeting was attended by deputies of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan, members of the Public Council, the leadership of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan, representatives of expert community and subordinate organizations. The Foreign Policy Research Institute was represented by Deputy Chairman of the Board Manarbek Kabaziyev.
The main issue on the agenda was the report of Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan Yermukhambet Konuspayev on the results of the Ministry's activities for 2025. In his speech, he presented main results of the country's foreign policy implementation, informed about achieved indicators in key areas of international cooperation, and outlined the Ministry's priorities and plans for 2026.
During the meeting, a thorough exchange of views took place on topical issues of the foreign policy of the Republic of Kazakhstan. The participants discussed prospects for further improving activities of the Public Council, strengthening interaction of the Foreign Ministry with the parliamentary corps, the expert community and civil society institutions.
