On July 8, 2026 Deputy Chairman of the FPRI Board Manarbek Kabaziyev held a meeting with representatives of the Islamic Organization for Food Security (IOFS).
The meeting was attended by Chief de Cabinet of Director General of the IOFS Ambassador Azamat Berdibay, Advisor to Director General Dr. Muhammad Yousuf Khan, and Public Relations Officer Yeldana Anvarova. The meeting was also attended by expert of the FPRI Yerzhan Kalekenov.
During the meeting, information was exchanged on main activities of the two organizations, as well as views on topical issues of strengthening international cooperation and promoting initiatives in the field of food security in the Islamic world.
Special attention was paid to development of expert interaction, exchange of analytical materials and expansion of research cooperation.
Following the meeting, the parties confirmed their mutual interest in further developing partnerships, maintaining regular working contacts, as well as implementing joint information and analytical initiatives, including publishing scientific and expert articles by the FPRI staff in specialized publications of the Islamic Organization for Food Security.
The meeting was held in a constructive and friendly atmosphere, confirming mutual willingness of the parties to develop an expert dialogue on food security, sustainable development and strengthening international cooperation.
