On April 6, 2021, Memorandum of Cooperation was signed between Chairman of the Board of the Foreign Policy Research Institute of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan Bolat Nurgaliyev and Chairman of the Board of the N.Nazarbayev Center for Development of Interfaith and Intercivilization Dialogue Bolat Sarsembayev. 
The event was also attended by the Deputy Chairman of the FPRI Manarbek Kabaziev and the Head of the Institute for Analysis of the Religious Situation and Religious Studies Expertise Yerzhan Baibol.
The Memorandum provides for specific cooperation projects between the expert and analytical structures of the two institutions, including joint events involving foreign colleagues.
The heads of the FPRI and the N. Nazarbayev Center reached an agreement on cooperation during the XIX meeting of the Congress Secretariat and the Working Group, as well as events dedicated to the 30th anniversary of Kazakhstan's Independence.
