On April 25, 2023, The FPRI Board members Bolat Nurgaliyev, Amangeldy Tazhenov and Manarbek Kabaziev met with a delegation of the China Institutes of Contemporary International Relations (CICIR) headed by Director of the Institute of Eurasian Studies Ding Xiaoxin.

B.Nurgaliyev acquainted his Chinese colleagues with  main activities of the Institute, and also shared assessments of current state of international relations, problems in the field of regional security and implementation of Kazakhstan's foreign policy strategy. The sides exchanged views on specific issues of Kazakh-Chinese relations in political, economic and humanitarian spheres. An agreement was reached on cooperation in conducting joint research and activities of the FPRI and the CICIR.
