On December 27, 2023, Chairman of the FPRI Board Bolat Nurgaliyev met with the Charge d'affaires of Iran in Kazakhstan Mohsen Chitsaz at the initiative of the latter.

During the meeting, the interlocutors discussed topical issues of international and regional situation, shared their assessments of current situation in Central Asia, South Caucasus and Middle East. An agreement was reached on assistance of the Iranian Embassy in expanding partnership relations of the FPRI and Iranian analytical structures specializing on foreign policy issues.
