On April 26, 2024, Chairman of the FPRI Board Bolat Nurgaliyev met with experts from the Netherlands Institute of International Relations «Сlingendael» (NIMO) Niels Drost and Giulia Cretti. Estimates of the geopolitical situation in Central Asia and its geopolitical environment have been brought to attention of the Dutch researchers.
N.Drost and G.Cretti were interested in the issues of Kazakhstan's relations with the EU, importance of the Trans-Caspian International Transport Corridor in ensuring interconnectivity of China and the European Union through the territory of Kazakhstan and other Central Asian countries and the South Caucasus. The Kazakh vision of updated Strategy of the European Union in Central Asia was also discussed.
