On May 20, 2024, a delegation of the International Institute for Cultural Diplomacy (IICD) of the United Arab Emirates, headed by Chairman of the Board Dr. Mohamad Kamil Almuaini, met with Chairman of the Board of the Foreign Policy Research Institute Bolat Nurgaliyev.
The parties exchanged views on a wide range of issues, including the situation in Central Asia and the Middle East, interaction of Kazakhstan with the UAE within the framework of the OIC, SCO and UNO.
The parties also reviewed Memorandum of Understanding between the FPRI and the IICD. The document, signed by Chairman of the FPRI Board and Chairman of the IICD Board envisages practical cooperation of the two analytical structures in the sphere of public diplomacy.
