On February 18, 2025, Chairman of the FPRI Board Bolat Nurgaliyev met Defense attache of the French Embassy in Kazakhstan Robert Hazemann and PhD student at the French Foreign Institute for Oriental Languages and Civilizations (INALCO) Romain Sidos at their request.
The interlocutors were briefed on Kazakhstan's foreign and defense policy, topical issues being addressed by the Kazakh diplomacy since our country gained independence, assessments of the state of international and regional situation, prospects for cooperation of Kazakhstan in a bilateral format and within the framework of integration associations, including the SCO, CSTO, CICA, etc. 
B.Nurgaliyev also spoke about practical activities of the Foreign Policy Research Institute to study issues of cooperation with foreign countries, including France, a diverse partnership with which is among foreign policy priorities of our country.
