On September 12, 2025 the FPRI expert Almat Toyekin participated in the conference «The Tianjin SCO Summit, Lessons and Prospects for Central Asia», organized by the Eurasian Association for International Studies and the Association of Chinese Researchers. The conference was attended by deputies of the Mazhilis of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Ambassadors of China and Iran to Kazakhstan, diplomats from the Embassies of Uzbekistan and Belarus, representatives of Kazakh academic and expert circles, as well as journalists from Chinese media. 
The results of the SCO summit held in Tianjin, the prospects for development of this Organization, its role and importance for Central Asia and adjacent regions were discussed.
