On March 3, 2026, a meeting was held between Deputy Chairman of the FPRI Board Amanzheldy Tazhenov, and Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran to the Republic of Kazakhstan Ali Akbar Jowkar. From the Iranian side, the meeting was attended by Third Secretary of the Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran in the Republic of Kazakhstan Darabi Darestani, and interpreter Y. Shaimerdenov. From the Institute, Senior Expert K. Nurtazin and experts A. Toekin and N. Omirbek participated. 
During the meeting, Ambassador Ali Akbar Jowkar briefed the participants on the development of the situation around the Islamic Republic of Iran and presented the Iranian side’s positions on current issues of the international agenda. In addition, interest was expressed in intensifying cooperation between the research and analytical institutes of Kazakhstan and Iran.
