On June 6, 2026 the republican newspaper «Egemen Kazakhstan» published an analytical article by Deputy Chairman of the FPRI Board Manarbek Kabaziyev entitled «Eurasia kenistigindegi seriktestik bagdary» (Partnership Guidelines in the Eurasian Space) dedicated to results of the state visit of the President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin to the Republic of Kazakhstan.
The article notes that the visit was an important stage in development of the Kazakh-Russian relations in the context of ongoing transformation of global political and economic system. According to the author, agreements reached during negotiations confirm high level of strategic trust between the two states and their willingness to further strengthen mutually beneficial cooperation.
Special attention is paid to importance of the Joint Statement adopted during the visit on the Seven Pillars of Friendship and Good-Neighborliness between the peoples of Kazakhstan and Russia, which establishes long-term guidelines for bilateral partnership and reflects the parties' desire to develop sustainable and predictable cooperation in the Eurasian space.
M.Kabaziyev also emphasized the role of Kazakhstan as one of the key participants in processes of regional interconnectedness and formation of a new Eurasian agenda based on principles of pragmatism, mutual benefit, and respect for national interests.
