On August 11, 2026 the FPRI experts Sergey Savelyev and Nurzhan Omirbek met with a professor at South Korea's Chonbuk University Askhat Seifullin. During the meeting foreign representative was informed about main activities of the Institute. The meeting participants discussed issues of cooperation between Kazakhstan and South Korea, as well as the topics of the upcoming CA–Republic of Korea summit in September this year.
Following the meeting, mutual interest was expressed in preparing joint publications and conducting research.
